Set up Outlook for Android for the first time
Step 1: Install and open Outlook for Android
Install the Outlook for Android app from the Google Play Store, then open it. If this is your first time, tap Get Started.
If Outlook is already set up with another account, open the Menu, tap Settings, then tap Add Account > Add Email Account, and skip to Step 4 below.
Step 2: Connect detected Google accounts
Outlook may detect any Google accounts already on your device. To add them to Outlook for Android, tap Google Connect Account, then tap OK to confirm. Tap Allow to give Outlook access to your contacts.

If you do not want to add these accounts, tap Skip and continue to Step 4 below.
Step 3: Add the selected accounts
Select the accounts you would like to add, then tap Add Account. You may be asked to sign in.

When prompted, tap Allow to confirm offline access and any other permission prompts.

To add another email account, tap Continue and proceed to Step 4. Otherwise, tap Skip.
Step 4: Add another email account
Enter your full email address, then tap Continue.
Note: If you are asked to choose your provider, follow Microsoft's guide to set up Exchange manually or set up an IMAP or POP account.

Step 5: Sign in
Enter your email account password and tap Login.

Step 6: Verify with multi-factor authentication
If multi-factor authentication is enabled on your account, verify your identity using your normal MFA method, then tap Login.
